Whether delighting in finding a wheat penny, dragging my wife through car museums in every town we visit, or enjoying the old school styling of my motorcycle, there’s no denying my appreciation of the past. So, helping others by restoring their old photographs is one of the rewarding things I do in life.
I discovered my artistic gifts at an early age. After high school, I studied Commercial Art where I learned art theory, photography, drafting and other skills I carried with me throughout my life.
Never straying far from my ability to put down ideas on paper, I eventually moved into architectural drafting where I became the head of a CAD Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. I also started my own drafting and large document management company, CAD Arts, LLC.
Though my career took on a technical aspect, I continued to expand my artistic interests. While exploring Photoshop in 1998, I discovered the perfect blend between my computer graphics knowledge and art skills. Enthralled with the possibilities Photoshop offered, I set out to learn as much as I could about how to skillfully utilize the tools found within the software. I began to attend seminars, on-line courses, and nation conventions. I learned digital photography at The Art Institute of Colorado in Denver.  I took advantage of any learning opportunity I could find.
Since I have a love for all things old, it is no surprise that I developed a fondness for photo-restoration. I decided to change careers and pursue photo-restoration and art.
Though restoration and retouch is my focus, I continue to exhibit and sell my digital art in juried shows.
